Dr D V L N Prasad, PhD (Physiology)took over as the Registrar of Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Tamaka, Kolar, Karnataka, India.
Dr.D.V.L.N. Prasad began his career as a Lecturer in the Department of Physiology at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar in the year 1990. He has taught Physiology for various courses like MBBS, MD, M.Sc, Nursing and allied health Sciences and acted as both external and internal examiner for the same courses within the state and outside the state health universities. He was appointed as Vice Principal and professor of physiology at PES Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh in 2002 – 2006. From 2007 to 2018 he has worked as Controller of Examinations at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar, Karnataka.
He was the first Registrar (Eva) at Adichunchanagiri University, B.G. Nagar, Mandya, Karnataka from 2018 to 2022. His dedication and commitment earned him the status of Registrar again at Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar in June 2022. All through his career spanning more than 30 years he has been distinguished by his unique and innovative teaching methods and administrative acumen. He has been a key person who has contributed to the development of all institutions he has served. He has created platforms for academicians and scientists to come together and share their ideas. His students past and present hold him in high esteem. He has several publications to his credit and a renowned mentor and guide of research scholars. As a Registrar Evaluation his integrity and efficiency in conducting various examinations of the University speaks volumes. He brought several reforms and took many student friendly initiatives in exam process. He is well versed with standards of administration and processes of NMC and other accreditation bodies like NAAC, NABH, NABL, UGC.
